We are happy to announce that the 17th India International Seafood Show (IISS) will be held at Chcnnai Trade Centre, Chennai from the 19th to 21st of February, 2010. This biennial event, the India International Seafood Show, is one of the largest seafood fairs in Asia and is a rendezvous of seafood processors, exporters, importers, aqua culturists, processing machincrv manufacturers and allied industries under one roof. The event has a tremendous potential for increasing the opportunities before the seafood industry and also for introducing novel technologies relating to seafood industry and trade.

The show is jointly organized by the Marine Products Export Development Agency (MPEDA) and the Seafood Exporters Association of India (SEAI). The event management is conducted by Chennai-bascd Global Infrastructure Services and Solutions (GISS). As a part of the event, MPEDA and SEAI plans to have an exhibition in which 100 stalls have been arranged for display of a wide range of products, machineries and inputs. It has been decided by the organizers of the show to bring out a souvenir to mark this mega event. The souvenir would be of a standard to befit this major international trade event, both in form and content.
